Directly behind our house is the hiking trail to Mayrhofen through the forest, ideal for walking and recharging your batteries. We offer our guests two attractive holiday apartments with a small garden for sunbathing. Our apartments can be booked individually or together.

Our house, built in 2001, is located in Hollenzen before the entrance to Mayrhofen in the Zillertal. Just a few minutes' walk from the town center and yet in a quiet, undeveloped and sunny location with a wonderful view of the Zillertal mountains. You can reach the Mayrhofen dairy with its shop on foot in just 10 minutes via the forest path. All the necessary food can be found there. In winter, the ski bus stops right in front of our house and the entrance to the cross-country ski trail network is also in the immediate vicinity. In summer, our location is an ideal starting point for hikes and mountain bike tours in the surrounding mountains. Two attractive, ground-floor apartments with generous furnishings for 2 to 4 people are available to our guests. We have furnished the apartments with great attention to detail.

Mayrhofen offers a wide range of offerings at any time of the year, giving guests countless opportunities to make their precious vacation days varied. The excellent location of the place in the center of the Zillertal is particularly noteworthy. Here the main valley divides like a finger into the four picturesque side valleys Zillergrund, Zemmgrund, Stilluptal and Tuxer Tal.

In winter in Mayrhofen everything revolves around the white gold. No wonder, as you have two ski mountains to choose from: the Penken and Ahorn ski areas. With the Mayrhofen ski pass you can let off steam on a total of 159 kilometers of slopes. You don't need to worry about a lack of snow: all slopes in the ski area are equipped with modern snowmaking systems. You can always reach the ski area using comfortable lifts. Those who are particularly brave can throw themselves down the “Harakiri” slope: the steepest slope in Austria with an average gradient of 78%

As soon as the snow begins to melt in spring, the first hikers and mountain bikers come to the Tyrolean Zillertal. The lush green alpine meadows with the mountain peaks of the Tux and Zillertal Alps animate everyone. With the help of the Penken and Ahorn cable cars, there are no limits to mountain tours. The sections of the long-distance hiking trails are particularly attractive: the Tyrolean high-altitude hiking trail, the Tyrolean Adlerweg or the Berlin high-altitude trail through the Zillertal not only delight hiking enthusiasts with their great views.
